Hey Mike,
Haven't seen you around in a while.... you getting that boat ready aren't ya?
Looks like I'm going to get rid of mine this year....... on a trade in!

I may have asked before but, what are the security risks involved in allowing Flash movies on the site? I had it installed, as a BBCode, on the .net site a while back... worked well enough but I didn't want to add it to my active site until I talked with the Guru here.

Also.... Have you ever heard of the colors changing on their own, on a board?
As you know a while back the BG color changed from that greenish tint to total black. This time it was the banner hue, the catagory tables (Alt & Alt1).. as well as the usergroup names. All the names look dirty now. Also in the AdminCP any text showing a change in the styles, or templates, went from Red to almost orange.

Very Strange happenings going on over there....... I've got most of the colors changed back. You know of the host's DB troubles, is there any way those troubles could have done that? I looked at the Errors page *host's site, but they still don't have those pages back online..........yet

Anyway, thought I'd pop in and ask about the Flash.
Thanks mang.....

Its almost fishing season. This is also the time of year when all of the fishing shows are going on. The last two weeks have been hectic. I did an hour fishing seminar at one of the shows. I have a full days worth of work to do on my boat and it should be ready to go.

It is possible for the colors to change if you or your host has done a database restore or transfer. Anytime you modify or upgrade the site, its possible for something to happen. This is why it is important to back up your database before you do a software upgrade for your site.

I am not keen on flash. I always try to keep my sites simple. If you have have a flash banner, pictures, or mp3's that load when you visit your site.....it will have a direct impact on page loading speed.

Here is a famous quote.
"For every action, there is an equal and opposing reaction".
