This is how to add new attachments to your attachment manager. I will do this example of creating a rar attachment.

Add New Extension
Enter the extension - rar
Max Filesize - 4294967295
Maximum Width - 0
Maximum Height - 0
Mime Type & Headers - Content-type: application/rar
Display thumdnail for this type - no
Open this attachement in a new browser window - no
enabled - yes
