I am Mike, and I am the creator of this site. I have been an admin on vBulletin sites for over 4 years. My first expierence as an admin was a huge learning curve. I had a website that was given to me. Not knowing a thing about vBulletin's admin functions, nor web hosting, I managed to crash the site several times, and loose everything. Hint: Most web hosting companies do a nightly back up. I wish I would have known that in the beginning. Once the site was crashed, I proceded to rebuild it from the ground up. Like I said...."I did this several times". I have a way of getting in over my head, but yet some how still manage to stay afloat.
All of my expierence has been self taught. If you want to learn something, read, read, and read some more. There is a lot of information on vBulletin.com and vBulletin.org. I have a come a long ways since those early days, and so has vBulletin. Other than actually writing code, I can do most everything with vBulletin.
I am an industrial electrician by trade. When I am not on the pc, I enjoy spending time with my family and fishing for Salmon on Lake Michigan. I also like to hunt whitetail deer in the fall.
